A bit about Jack
One of our first case studies from our Live Life Local campaign is Jack Miller Fitness.
As we support local businesses from across the city, we are spotlighting the many services we think will be of interest to you following the chat each business had on-air with the breakfast team.
As we come out of Covid we’re all thinking more about our health. Jack was too, but in a way which would allow him to start his own studio, taking the plunge, which for him he describes as a dream come.
Jack’s been working in the fitness industry for over 7 years after working with local leisure venues across the city, including the King Alfred Centre. Over that time, he built up a loyal following, some of whom still visit him for training.
Covid gave us all the time to think about our fitness levels and what we wanted to achieve health wise. More importantly we’re thinking now about how this is going to fit into our new look daily routine. Jack had that same time during lockdown to give him perspective on how creating a business would enable him to further support people in need of his expertise.
He spent the lockdowns talking to clients, asking them questions which would give him the ability to better see what worked, both during and after a Covid world. That’s important, because whilst everyone is different with their fitness levels, the fundamentals are similar for everyone as we enter a new hybrid way of living and working. That has to be important now we are changing how we are exercising.
With a more flexible hybrid way of working comes a need for our fitness to work around our studying, work life and our family and friends. Jack offers flexible in-studio and outdoor classes consisting of ‘High Intensity Interval Training’ (HIIT), and Outdoor Boxing Fitness, both on a one-to-one level and in friendly relaxed groups where you’ll get more out of your fitness working to goals with likeminded people with similar fitness levels.
