JOB OVERVIEW
Are you someone who’s got something to say?
Do you love music and live events?
Do you live the lifestyle; into the latest fashions, the latest tech and have plans to travel and live life to the full?
We are looking to grow our presentation team across our two radio stations in Brighton and Bristol.
Due to our radio business being a Covid startup business as well as the recent energy crisis, these opportunities need to start on a voluntary basis initially to allow us to build the stations until suitable sponsorships have been confirmed. The roles will then become fully paid.
As presenters you will be hosting content both on-air, on camera and at outside broadcasts.

CORE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY ROLE
As a presenter you would be required to take on a daily show for no more than 3 hours per day. Presenters would have a show across one of our two radio stations, hosting the show, preparing for the show and taking part in any promotional activity required by the station as part of any sponsorship deal. This would primarily be taken on a voluntary basis in order to gain sponsorships for the show which (as a result) then develop into a paid position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
PAST EXPERIENCE
Some media and presentation experience is required due to the type of presentation roles available. You are not required to have a minimum number of years’ experience in radio or presentation, but you do have to be able to demonstrate your presentation ability within a demo you are required to send in as part of your application.
KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES
You must be able to demonstrate that you have skills in being able to present and prepare content for use on-air. You should also be able to edit audio and know how to use PC and audio equipment.
DESIRABLE SKILLS & ABILITIES
Any knowledge of radio and the workings of how a radio show is produced and put together is an advantage. If you have knowledge of music and anything outside of radio that you think will enhance your programming skills then this is also something to mention in your application. If successful, you will learn about every aspect of radio during your time with us, however it is important that you have a desire to work as part of a team, sharing ideas and then executing those ideas.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
A keen drive to communicate to our listeners in fun and exciting ways using various platforms to create features and support local artists and talent is really important. You’ll need to understand what our listeners do and what they like to enable you to produce fun and exciting content. A self-motivating attitude to getting on and create unsupervised whilst working from a brief is also essential.
